Ce tournoi du PSA World Tour, au label Platine et à la dotation de 239.000 dollars, constituait la deuxième sortie de la saison pour Nele Gilis, qui a atteint les demi-finales du Squash in the Land à Cleveland la semaine dernière. Tinne Gilis (PSA 9, 28 ans) faisait ses débuts en 2026 à New York, où elle était tête de série N.7.
