Euro de snooker - Anja Vandenbussche échoue aux portes de la finale

Vandenbussche, 52 ans, avait d'abord sorti la Roumaine Monica Manolache sur le score de 3-0 en huitièmes de finale avant d'éliminer la Lettone Tatjana Vasiljeva, championne d'Europe 2012, en quarts de finale (4-2). En demi-finale, Vandebussche a subi la loi d'une autre Lettone Anna Prysazhnuka (WWS 49) sur le score de 4-1.


Prysazhnuka avait remporté l"Euro en 2023, privant alors Wendy Jans (WWS 19) d'un cinquième titre.
