"Je suis convaincu que votre expérience unique et votre intérêt pour la promotion réelle des nobles idéaux olympiques contribueront au succès de cette fonction à haute responsabilité", a écrit Vladimir Poutine dans une lettre adressée à Kirsty Coventry publiée par le Kremlin.
