De 34-jarige Hias komt over van Club NXT, de beloftenploeg van vicekampioen Club Brugge die in de Challenger Pro League uitkomt. Daar was hij sinds afgelopen zomer T2. Voordien was hij hoofdtrainer van KVK Tienen van 2021 tot 2024 en assistent-trainer bij Jong Westerlo tijdens het seizoen 2024-2025.
